About the role
A mid-sized food production company in London is hiring for this role. You will install, maintain and repair industrial machinery, and help the team build out its maintenance systems and documentation. The role exists to keep equipment running and to improve uptime over time.
What you'll do
- Install, assemble, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repairs
- Carry out fabrication, welding and machining work
- Help establish maintenance systems and documentation
- Analyze equipment uptime and promote safety and continuous improvement
- Guide apprentices as needed
What you bring
- Hands-on millwright experience with industrial machinery
- Skills in troubleshooting, welding, fabrication and machining
- Comfort with preventive maintenance and emergency repair work
- A commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
- Willingness to guide apprentices
