About the role
A large financial services company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will own the data marts, pipelines and reporting systems behind finance and market risk, so the business can rely on accurate financial and regulatory reporting. You will work closely with brokerage, finance and risk stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain finance and market risk data marts, pipelines and reporting systems
- Build and support dashboards for finance, brokerage and risk teams
- Keep performance, data quality and reliability high across your data assets
- Support financial planning, product launches, market risk analysis and forecasting
- Contribute to team development
What you bring
- Senior-level experience as a data scientist or in a closely related data role
- Experience building data marts, pipelines and reporting in a finance or risk setting
- Working knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting
- Ability to partner with brokerage, finance and risk stakeholders
