About the role
A large building materials company in Edmonton is hiring for this role. You will keep production equipment, utilities and building systems running, and help improve how that equipment performs through root cause analysis and equipment projects.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical, mechanical and pneumatic production equipment
- Maintain utilities and building systems
- Complete safety evaluations and document your work
- Run root cause analysis and support equipment projects
- Coordinate with production, prepare training materials and recommend ways to improve equipment performance
What you bring
- Journeyman-level millwright experience
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Comfort with safety evaluations and clear documentation
- Ability to work with production teams and support maintenance and improvement programs
