A small energy technology company in Muskoka Lakes Township is hiring for this role. The manufacturing engineer owns the build and inspection processes for electrical assemblies and systems integration. The role exists to keep production safe, efficient and on schedule while quality stays high.
What you'll do
- Lead the build and inspection processes for electrical assemblies and systems integration
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes and work instructions to meet safety, quality, efficiency and delivery requirements
- Resolve production challenges and non-conformances
- Support design-for-manufacture efforts with the design team
- Plan equipment and layout improvements to increase capacity and ensure timely delivery
What you bring
- Experience in manufacturing engineering for electrical assemblies and systems integration
- Skill writing and improving work instructions and manufacturing processes
- A practical approach to troubleshooting production issues and non-conformances
- Familiarity with design-for-manufacture and with planning equipment and layout changes
