About the role
A small energy technology company in Muskoka Lakes Township is hiring for this role. The manufacturing engineer owns the processes and work instructions behind mechanical assemblies and integrated product systems. The role exists to keep safety, quality, efficiency and delivery on track as demand grows.
What you'll do
- Develop, qualify and improve manufacturing processes for mechanical assemblies and integrated product systems
- Write and maintain work instructions for the production floor
- Resolve production and quality issues as they come up
- Assess product designs for manufacturability
- Plan equipment, layout and capacity improvements to support growing demand
What you bring
- Experience in manufacturing engineering for mechanical assemblies
- A working knowledge of process development, qualification and continuous improvement
- The ability to write clear work instructions
- Sound problem-solving skills on production and quality issues
- A focus on safety, quality, efficiency and on-time delivery
