A large medical equipment manufacturing company in Canada is hiring for this role. You will build and mature the manufacturing data pipelines, establish trusted operational metrics and apply AI and machine learning to improve how the operation performs. You will also help guide the wider data science organization.
What you'll do
- Develop and mature manufacturing data pipelines
- Establish trusted operational metrics for the business
- Use advanced analytics to support root cause investigations and improve operational performance
- Identify and implement practical AI and machine learning solutions across manufacturing, supply chain, operations and new product introduction
- Partner with operational teams and mentor the broader data science organization
What you bring
- Experience building data pipelines in a manufacturing setting
- A strong analytics background, including root cause investigation
- Hands-on experience applying AI and machine learning to practical operational problems
- Comfort working alongside operational teams across supply chain and new product introduction
- Senior-level experience, including mentoring other data scientists
