About the role
A mid-sized aviation and aerospace company in Golden is hiring for this role. You will own the manufacturing processes for spacecraft, rover and space-rated mechanical and electromechanical assemblies. The company needs someone who can turn designs into buildable, repeatable assemblies and keep quality and readiness on track.
What you'll do
- Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for space-rated assemblies
- Create build documentation, tooling and assembly methods
- Work with design and supplier teams to resolve manufacturing issues
- Support prototype builds
- Lead quality, readiness and continuous improvement efforts
What you bring
- Senior-level manufacturing engineering experience
- A background in mechanical and electromechanical assemblies
- Skill in writing build documentation and defining tooling and assembly methods
- Comfort working directly with design engineers and suppliers
- A record of leading continuous improvement
